Selling A Car

  • Anshin is a Mazda Preowned and Used car-selling/buying service that is trusted, secured, convenient. You can sell your car in 3 simple steps: Submit your car and contact details on anshinusedcar@mazda.com.my or call our Hotline at 03-76273308. Our customer service team will contact you to confirm your appointment details.

    1. Attend the scheduled, 60-minutes appointment with all necessary documents at our inspection centre.
    2. Accept Anshin’s recommended selling price before your car is put up for sale on Anshin’s platform.
    3. Once you accept the buyer’s offer via Mazda Anshin, our sales team will liaise with both parties on the financing and vehicle ownership transfer and vehicle delivery /collection.

    Our service ensures that you receive the best Mazda Certified Valuation for your car based on its condition. After the vehicle inspection, you will be provided with a recommended selling price.   • (On behalf of friends and family)

    No. However, you can bring the car on the owner’s behalf for inspection at our inspection centres; after the inspection, we require the car owner to be present for ownership transfer as the owner’s thumbprint is required.

    (On behalf of a company) Yes. We need you to bring along the following:

    • An authorization form for the person delivering and transacting the car.
    • A letter signed by the company’s director providing authorization for you to sell on the company’s behalf.
    • Company account details (e.g. company bank statement).
    • Confirmation of the company’s business address. Further documentation may be required depending on the situation, so it is advisable to contact us at anshinusedcar@mazda.com.my if you are selling a company registered car.

    Note: Different fees and charges may apply if you are selling a company registered vehicle.

  • (Cars owned by non-Malaysia citizens)

    The process differs from Anshin’s standard procedures. Non-Malaysian car owners have to go through the following processes:

    1. Clear any outstanding bank loans and provide a Puspakom B5 report (transfer of ownership inspection process at Puspakom).
    2. Send the car to the Mazda inspection centre for inspection. (Accept buyer’s offer and our sales team will liaise with you on the ownership transfer).
    3. Perform the ownership transfer in person with Anshin’s sales person at JPJ’s (the Road and Transport Department of Malaysia).

    At the moment, we only provide this service to Klang Valley customers. For more information, please write to us at anshinusedcar@mazda.com.my or call us at 03-76273308.

    • Our inspection centres (Glenmarie Lot 14 and PJ Lot 9) are open on: Monday - Saturday (9:00am - 5:00pm).

  • Step 1:

    Make an Appointment It takes less than 2 minutes to submit your car and contact details on anshinusedcar@mazda.com.my or call our hotline at 03-76273308. Our Customer Service team will call you to confirm your details and inspection date and time.

    Step 2:

    Attend the Inspection Attend the appointment with the original documents and items listed below:

    a. Registration Card (RC)/Vehicle Ownership Certificate (VOC).

    b. NRIC (or passport for non-Malaysians).

    c. Spare keys (if available).

    d. Approved Permit (AP) (company or individual for verification, if applicable).

    e. Hire Purchase Settlement (for cars with outstanding loan amount).

    f. Purchase Invoice (for cars purchased by cash).

    g. Third-party authorization letter (for cars under a different name).

    The inspection appointment takes an average of 60 minutes. An Anshin-certified auto inspector will conduct a thorough 111-point inspection of your car, which includes a short road test. The road drive helps us determine the realistic value of your car. Photos will also be taken for record and reporting purposes.

    Step 3:

    Accept the recommended selling price or Choose to restore your car before putting up for sale We will provide you with a recommended selling price, which you may accept or choose to restore your car before putting up for sale at a higher price.

    A. Sell your car at Anshin’s recommended selling price

    Once you accept our recommended selling price, your car will be listed in Anshin’s website within 3 days and will be valid for 30 days. After the expiry of 30 days, the recommended selling price will be revised. The process of Step 3 will be repeated.

    B. If your car has a confirmed buyer

    If your car received a confirmed buyer, you have 14 days to prepare all the necessary documents and hand over the car. You are allowed to put your car on the Anshin Platform for 30 days. An Inspection fee of RM100 will be charged for the Mazda Certified Inspection Service.

    Step 4:

    Transfer of Ownership, Vehicle Handover, and Payment All paperwork for ownership transfer and payment will be coordinated by us between the buyer and seller on the agreed date. The remaining loan settlement with the bank and final payment will be made directly by the buyer to the seller.

  • Notify your inspector-in-charge when you arrive for your inspection. The whole appointment should not take more than 60 minutes. Our professional, certified inspectors will conduct a thorough 111-point inspection of your car, which includes a short road test. The road drive helps us to determine the realistic value of your car. Photos will also be taken for record and reporting purposes. If you agree to accept the recommended selling price, your car will be listed on the Anshin website within 3 days and will be valid for 30 days. After the expiry of 30 days, the recommended selling price will be revised. The process of Step 3* will be repeated. *Subject to terms & conditions and receipt of all documents.

  • If your car did not receive any offer to buy after 30 days, a new selling price will be recommended. The process of Step 3 will be repeated. Should there be no offer to buy after 60 days and you still want to proceed with a sale, we recommend contacting our customer service team at anshinusedcar@mazda.com.my or contact us at 03-76273308. Please note that our recommended selling price may differ depending on the conditions of your vehicle. A new recommended selling price may be provided upon customer’s request should there be no offer to buy after 30-60days. The new recommended selling price will differ from the original recommended selling price before the subsequent listing.

  • You need to release your car to us within 14 days or earlier from the day you accept the offer to buy your car. Our sales team will contact you to arrange for the following:

    • Provide thumbprint at JPJ (Road Transport Department)
    • Provide purchase invoice (for cars purchased by cash) All paperwork for ownership transfer will be coordinated/facilitated by us between buyer and seller on the agreed date. As service charge (fee) will be imposed.The remaining loan settlement with the bank and final payment will be made directly between the buyer and the seller. We require the following documents and items for ownership transfer:
    1. NRIC (or passport for non-Malaysians)
    2. Original vehicle Registration Card (RC) / Original Vehicle Ownership Certificate (VOC)
    3. Spare keys (if any)
    4. Outstanding hire purchase loan statement (if any)
  • 1. Inform the e-hailing company that you are selling the car. The e-hailing company will inform the APAD

       (Agensi Pengangkutan Awam Darat), who will cancel the E-Hailing Vehicle Permit.

    2. Go to Puspakom to run the B2 and B5 Inspection and complete the ownership transfer & 'Tukar Kelas'.

    3. Do a manual thumbprint verification at the nearest JPJ center.

    4. After steps 1-3 are complete, make an appointment at anshinusedcar@mazda.com.my or call our hotline at 03-76273308.

    Note: you will be responsible for any fees/charges under steps 1-3.

  • If your road tax has expired for more than 1 year, you have to renew it, or we are not able to proceed with the inspection. Also, for reasons of the law, you should not drive on the road if your vehicle does not have a valid road tax.

  • If you attend the inspection process without the car grant, you must send a photocopy to the inspector-in-charge after the inspection to proceed with the inspection/transaction.

  • An offer to buy will only be considered firm upon receipt of a booking fee/down payment paid by the potential buyer. If the buyer /seller fails to fulfil payment requirements, *Anshin reserves the final rights to decide the entire buy-sell process of the vehicle.

  • Once your hire purchase financing has been settled in full, contact your bank to request for E-Batal.

  • A minimum of RM600 admin charge/handling fee will be applied excluding Mazda certified inspection charges (RM100). However, RM600 admin charge/handling fee will be waived/rebated if you decide to purchase a new Mazda car immediately after selling your old vehicle.

  • As a Pre-owned department of Mazda franchise holder, our experience in selling new and preowned vehicle allows us to understand the Mazda’s residual values as well as our knowledge in the market and branding positioning to build a reliable proprietary valuation. Our skilled and well-trained professional inspector will give you a fair valuation based on our own Mazda’s residual valuation guidelines. If you choose to put your car up for listing on the Anshin Platform, we will recommend a selling price (which is communicated to and agreeable by you before scheduled listing).

  • There are two ways to go about this:

    • If the outstanding amount is higher than the recommended selling price, we will still allow you to put up your car for sale. You can pay the shortfall by cash or cheque to the bank.
    • If the outstanding finance is lower than our recommended selling price, the buyer/banker will settle the amount with your original bank and pay you the balance.

Buying A Car

  • We offer Mazda Certified cars which have been selected based on Anshin’s certified standards. Our curated selection of cars offers you the best in value, quality, convenience and peace of mind. Only certified cars will be put on our listings.

  • Mazda Certified cars are vehicles that have passed our strict and thorough 111-point inspection, in line with our quality standards. Mazda Certified comes with three assurances that the vehicle:

    • Has not been in a major accident
    • Has no frame damages
    • Has not been through a flood
  • All cars listed on our website have undergone a thorough 111-point inspection which includes a short road test. The car’s condition including all underlying issues will be transparently listed. Only cars that pass our inspection and have been checked for its vehicle history will be listed on our website.

  • There are two types of cars listed:

    Cars labelled ‘Mazda Preowned’ and ‘Anshin’s Promise’ are owned by Anshin and feature:

    • An assurance of Anshin Certified 111-point inspection.
    • 3 or 5-year Warranty and Service Maintenance (commence from vehicle registration date).

    Cars labelled 'Customer Used Car' and 'Anshin Certified' are owned by our customers/owners and have undergone the Anshin Certified 111-point inspection. No warranty will be provided by Anshin.

  • All cars on sale will be labelled accordingly on our website.

  • The monthly instalment is an estimation calculated based on a year tenure and prefixed interest rate. It is not conclusive and is subject to terms and conditions from the respective financial institutions.

  • Yes. Authorization form for full settlement has to be signed and thumbprint has to be performed at the respective financial institution.

  • At Anshin, we are dedicated to providing a car-buying/selling experience that is fully transparent, trusted and convenient for our customers. Anshin’s Promise consists of:

    Anshin Mazda Certified service, which includes an assurance that the car:

    • Has undergone a thorough 111-point inspection.

    PREOWNED VEHICLE:

    3-5year Mazda Manufacturer’s Warranty and Service Maintenance (commence from the 

    date of vehicle registration) for the car you purchased.

    CUSTOMER USED CAR:

    Certified in compliance with Mazda’s standard quality for a worry-free purchase.

  • At Anshin, we offer you a haggle-free experience. Mazda Anshin assures that all Mazda cars bought or sold are in accordance with the company’s recommended guidelines on its residual values. Hence, our customers will enjoy value for money purchases and retain good ownership experience.

  • All cars on Anshin’s website are sold on an “as-is” basis. Only cars that have passed our inspection and have been checked for its history will be listed on our website.

  • Simply find your preferred car(s) on the site, click on 'Book A Test Drive' and select your date and time. Our sales team will contact you to make further arrangements.

  • You need to place a booking deposit, which is 1% of the purchase price together with the admin charges (fee), by cash, online transfer or credit card. Once the booking is confirmed, the car will be on 'Pending Purchase' with no further test drive or order by other customers.

  • Our sales consultants will assist you in loan submission through our panel of finance providers.

  • Yes, you may apply through your preferred financial institution.

  • The documents required are your:

    • Identity Card (for Malaysians) or Passport (for non-Malaysians)

    • Driving licence

    • Payslip for the last three months

    • Bank statement of salary account for the last three months

    • EPF statement

    • Any other income supporting documents

  • Delivery will be directly arranged between buyer and seller. If the balance down-payment is by loan disbursement, our sales team will coordinate the delivery process.

  • Mazda Inspection Centres are open on Monday to Saturday, 9.00am to 5.00pm.

  • Yes. Every car from the Customer Used Car has passed Anshin's 111-point inspection, in addition to having:

    • No major accident

    • No frame damage

    • No flood damage

    Nevertheless, the sale and purchase of the customer's car shall be on an "as is where is" basis.

    No warranty will be provided by Anshin.

  • To book a test drive appointment, you may contact us by clicking on the "Book A Test Drive" button. Our sales team will contact you to make arrangements.

  • No. Our Anshin's Promise packages are only applicable to Anshin Preowned Cars. Anshin does not provide warranty for customer used cars.However, Customer Used Car has undergone Mazda Certified Inspection before they are eligible to be listed in the Anshin Platform. Only cars that have passed Mazda Certified Inspection are allowed to be listed.

  • Anshin only allows Mazda direct users/owners who has passed the Mazda Inspection Certification to be listed on Mazda Anshin Platform
