In pursuit of perfecting the driving dynamics of our Mazda vehicles, the newly developed G-Vectoring Control Plus (GVC Plus) offers unprecedented levels of confidence-inspiring controllability, to help achieve a smoother, and less fatiguing drive.

The system works seamlessly by controlling the G-forces going through the car while in motion by shifting the gravitational forces, this lets you enjoy both city driving and twisty roads with confidence. The SKYACTIV-G petrol engine delivers powerful torque at low to mid-range speeds, linear acceleration response and an exhilaratingly powerful feel.

The SKYACTIV-D clean diesel engine offers one of the most efficient and powerful choices available, the lowest compression ratio among diesel engines, contributing to lower CO2 and NOx.

SKYACTIV-G 2.5L TURBO ENGINE

The ground-breaking new petrol engine delivers torque similar to that of a V8 engine, yet with an impressive fuel efficiency from 8.2L/100km.* It offers excellent dynamic performance in the mid-to-low rpm range, which is where the majority of everyday driving occurs. World-ﬁrst Dynamic Pressure Turbo controls the degree of exhaust pulsation depending on engine speed. Driven by a constant pressure ﬂow at higher rpms, the system redirects the energy in every exhaust pulsation to maximise drive force at lower rpms, eliminating turbo-lag - providing immediate, linear and smooth power delivery.
