MMF - Donation Oxygen Ventilator to Ministry of Health (MoH) 2021 | CSR

Since the Government of Malaysia enforced a Movement Control Order to break the chain of COVID-19. The media had actively spread the awareness by introducing the hashtag #stayhome & #staysafe to increase awareness and caution. The corporate organizations step in started to produce and contribute personal protective equipment for frontlines and hosted fundraising events to provide essentials, mainly to hospitals and Covid centers. This is to show support and ease their journey in battling with Covid-19.
Following a hike in Covid-19 cases in Malaysia, ICUs in designated hospitals nationwide are operating at near to exceed their capacity to help cope with this surge. Therefore, on 07th September 2021, Mazda Medicare Fund (MMF) team has taken an initiative to support our front-lined by donating of Oxygen Ventilator to Ministry of Health (MoH) valued at RM178,000.00.
The Mazda Medicare Fund (MMF) team sent 3 units of ventilators to Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (HTAR) Klang, Selangor today for Covid-19 patients' usage, in response to the surge in cases requiring treatment in intensive care units and respiratory aid.
As to date, it summarizes MMF has donated 3 ventilators, RM30,000 worth of personal protective equipment (PPE), and sponsored takeaway foods for 1,800 healthcare to MAEPS, Serdang Selangor, since the start of the pandemic, Movement Control Order (MCO 3.0) period.
