Mazda Charity Drive 2025

We are pleased to share that the Mazda Charity Drive 2025, organized by the Mazda Medicare Fund (MMF) in collaboration with Bermaz Motor Trading Sdn Bhd, was successfully held from 9th to 10th May 2025, covering Kuantan and Kelantan.
This meaningful event comprised 12 Mazda car owners driving various Mazda models, supported by over 20 participants including 8 dedicated members from the Mazda Medicare Fund Committee.
This year’s CSR initiative focused on visiting old folks’ homes in Kuantan and orphanage homes in Kelantan. The charity drive began with a meet-up at R&R Bentong (Petronas), where participants gathered in anticipation. A short but meaningful briefing was conducted by Mr. Loh Wei Keat (President of Mazda Club Malaysia) followed by an enthusiastic flag-off ceremony led by Ms. Lee Ai Hoon (President of the Mazda Medicare Fund).
Over the course of two days, the convoy visited two charitable institutions at Old Folks’s home Pusat Penjagaan Orang Tua Grannies, Kuantan, Pahang and Orphanage home Rumah Kebajikan Anak Yatim Dan Dhuafa' Libanat Siti Aminah, Wakaf Bharu, Kelantan. At each home, the MMF Management Team presented contributions of RM15,000.00 with mock cheques presented by Ms. Lee Ai Hoon (President of MMF) and Ms. Esteena Arnieza Binti Zais (Secretary of MMF). Alongside the financial support, we ensured that residents received hearty meals from Kenny Rogers Roasters with drinks, sweet treats from Dunkin’ Donuts and Mazda goodie bags.
The visits were filled with heartfelt moment - shared stories, laughter, and even tears of gratitude. In Kuantan, our team spent quality time with the elderly, listening to their experiences. In Kelantan, the children welcomed us with bright smiles, enjoying a buffet lunch and desserts, followed by fun interactions and the distribution of goodies.
The journey concluded with a high tea session alongside Mazda Club Malaysia members, a gesture of appreciation for their tireless support, generosity, and camaraderie. It was a time of reflection, bonding and It served as a wonderful moment for fellowship and reflection on the impact made throughout the journey.
The Mazda Charity Drive 2025 reaffirmed our commitment to serving underprivileged communities and upholding our responsibility as a caring corporate citizen. We look forward to continuing this meaningful work and expanding our outreach in the years to come.
