11.18.2024

7th November 2024 – Bermaz Motor recently held its 10th Mazda Charity Golf Tournament, an event dedicated to supporting the Mazda Medicare Fund (MMF). The Mazda Medicare Fund is a charitable initiative focused on providing humanitarian aid and medical relief to underprivileged communities across Malaysia. Since its inception, MMF has been actively involved in extending support to charitable organizations, including old folk’s homes and orphanages, through financial assistance and charity events.

This annual golf tournament represents Bermaz Motor's ongoing commitment to social responsibility and its goal of making a positive impact on communities in need. Through the generosity of participants and sponsors, funds raised from the event will help MMF continue its vital work, providing essential resources and services to those who need it most. This year’s charity tournament took place at the prestigious Glenmarie Golf & Country Club in Shah Alam, garnering remarkable support from 200 participants. The event successfully raised approximately RM 905,302, thanks to the generosity of golfers, donors, and sponsors. All proceeds will be directed to the Mazda Medicare Fund (MMF) to support its ongoing initiatives.

During the prize-giving luncheon, representatives from various beneficiaries, including Mount Miriam Cancer Hospital’s TKPKMM (Tabung Kebajikan Penyakit Kanser Mount Miriam) in Penang, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Perlindungan Jotti, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Yatim dan Cacat Perlindungan Selangor, and Pertubuhan Pengurusan Rumah Safiyyah, were invited on stage to receive mock cheques in recognition of the funds allocated to their causes.
